Maintenance Technicians in this position are expected to perform preventive maintenance, inspection, minor repairs and improvements on the building, machinery and equipment which includes: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor. The Maintenance Technicians in this position must maintain a safe working environment, comply with all safety procedures, PPE requirements and participate in functional department safety meetings. The Maintenance Technician in this position must exhibit good 5S environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Equipment Maintenance &; Repair
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment. Perform routine electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance & inspections. Assist in emergency troubleshooting & repair or process and facility equipment with plant personnel, contractors & vendors.Safety & Compliance
Participate in all department safety programs. Ensure exterior & interior safety of the facility. Observe and enforce all safety rules, working conditions and habits of employees. Ability to document repair & inspections.Facility Management
Maintain shop cleanliness in accordance with company 5S policies and guidelines. Monitor, maintain and purchase inventory of replacement components. Participate in proactive maintenance planning
