Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements Inspect machines and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components Coach machine operators on proper use of equipment Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. change glue barrels, fix production carts, change welding paper and saw blades) Keep logs of work and report on issuesSkills:
Experience as an ELECTRICAL Industrial Mechanic Understanding of PLC logic Knowledge of machinery, pneumatic, ELECTRICAL and other systems and their components Ability to troubleshoot ELECTRICAL issues & problem-solving ability Sense of urgency when equipment is down; commitment to the Team! Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers) Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, electrical schematics, etc. A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines OSHA Very good communication skills Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plusPay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour D.O.E
