Our Curries brand is adding a Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift to our manufacturing facility located in Mason City, IA. This role is for 2nd Shift with hours from 2 pm to 11 pm.

What would you do as our Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift?
In this role you will be responsible for completing all Maintenance activities as assigned. This includes preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance assignments providing feedback to the Maintenance Management team on repairs that were made and offer suggestions on how to improve the plans associated to the work effort.
You will also:
Be accountable to be safe in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; including but not limited to working with electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, manufacturing equipment which includes press brakes, roll formers, robots, conveyors, welders, lite electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, paint systems, boiler operation and cardboard compaction equipment. Complete work orders, projects and preventative maintenance. Complete all paperwork pertaining to work orders, service call reports and purchase requisitions, initiate purchase requisitions for parts and document shift events, problems and repairs or actions taken. Assist in snow removal, salting sidewalks, and driveways, maintaining all vehicles and machines of (oil changes, greasing, air filters etc.), compacting cardboard, filling propane tanks, dump garbage, help with MEK barrels, used oil, wood pallet organizing, moving office equipment, and running sweeper. Also keeping water ponds clean and maintained, run parts, manage flag pole, filling sand lot. Maintain adherence to all corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
The Skills and Experience you need:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. 2 years of relatable maintenance experience or completion of technical college degree in related field. Willingness and ability to complete the following trainings and obtain license or certification: forklift license, aerial license, and all safety requirements. Ability to work outside of normal shift, including weekend and off shift hours as needed. Valid Driver’s License required. Ability to build and repair all production machines preferred.
