**Job Description:** The individual will work closely with the maintenance team and operators on a daily basis in order to perform troubleshooting for machinery repairs and preventative maintenance. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** + Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems + Conduct preventative maintenance tasks + Machine/fabricate machine parts using drill press, lathe, mill, etc. + Perform machine repairs **Compensation Information:** + Must have good interpersonal skills, be a team player and a self-starter who can work with little or no supervision. Good people interaction skills needed to work with operators, engineers, and other non-technical personnel + Position requires 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment + Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills. + Measurement, layout, drilling reaming and threading as well as welding and cutting are required + Understanding of mechanical drive systems and bearing maintenance / replacement + Ability to work at heights using proper equipment + Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and prints + Ability to use test & measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, micrometers + Experience with PLCs, VFDs and Electrical Control systems a plus + A team player who possesses an excellent attitude + Willing to pursue further education + Self-directed and able to work with little direct supervision + Use logical thinking and the ability to analyze cause and effect situations + Capacity to address several issues or problems simultaneously
