Maintenance Technician Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm (40 hours)\n

A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Technician:\n\nDiagnoses problems and performs general repairs\/maintenance to include but not limited to, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing \nAssists with projects which may include light janitorial duties, landscape maintenance, snow removal and movement of furniture\nEnsures proper fire extinguisher and water temperature inspections are completed and documented \nUtilizes and maintains the work order tracking system, ensure work orders are completed accurately and timely \nConducts periodic inspections of all safety equipment to ensure they are in working order. \nPerforms painting (interior and exterior) and cleaning \nMaintains an inventory of agency tools and supplies, including the tool log book\nComplete open and closing duties which may include snow removal and salting at various properties when needed.\nMaintains effective customer service and working relationships with staff, departments and individuals \n\n

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills \nGreat customer service skills\nWell organized and detailed oriented \nMust possess a valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency driver standards.\n\n
