Currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the Chicago, IL area. Hiring immediately paying up to $38 per hour.

Job DescriptionPerform preventive and reactive maintenance on equipmentWork on machinery including proofers, ovens, mixers, flower systems, high-speed packaging, fillers, metal detectors, labeling machines, and compressorsResponsible for general facilities maintenanceUtilize blueprints and schematicsPerform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel (majority TIG, training provided)Use mills and lathes to machine partsTroubleshoot and repair 3 phase motorsWork with both pneumatic and hydraulic equipmentExperience performing mechanical troubleshooting and repairsBaseline electrical knowledge (blueprints and schematics)Experience working up to 480VExperience wiring up a 3 phase motor3+ years of maintenance experienceExperience with mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience troubleshooting PLCsHVAC experienceBoiler experienceExperience with manual mills and lathes to make partsFormer GMP experienceBilingualExperience with TIG and MIG weldingPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
