**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to carry out installation of furniture, lights, home appliances, and wall mounting of mirrors and artwork as required by our furnishing standards. You will conduct repairs as needed, including carpentry, handyman tasks, and light painting tasks. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing where possible, arranging for specialist engineers when necessary, conducting inspections, and providing snag lists for apartments. You will liaise with contractors on specialized maintenance tasks and assist guests with maintenance or technical issues, ensuring a positive guest experience. Additionally, you will deliver missing items to clients, such as glassware, lighting, and small appliances. **Responsibilities** + Install furniture, lights, and home appliances according to furnishing standards. + Conduct carpentry, handyman tasks, and light painting repairs. + Troubleshoot and repair issues, arranging for specialist engineers as needed. + Conduct inspections and provide snag lists for apartments. + Liaise with contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring communication and follow-up checks. + Assist guests with maintenance and technical issues related to their stay. + Deliver missing items like glassware and small appliances to clients. **Essential Skills** + At least 5 years of experience as a General Maintenance/Repairs Technician or similar role. + Proven experience in repairing home appliances. + Knowledge of spare parts and suppliers. + Strong knowledge of maintenance/technical procedures and practices. + Client-oriented with excellent communication skills. + Valid Driver's License. + Flexibility in schedule, including weekends, and ability to attend to emergencies. + Appropriate certifications for equipment in use. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. + Eye for detail, ability to inspect apartments and provide accurate reports. + Comfortable traveling to multiple locations in the New York City Area in a single working day. + Great problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a competitive salary with a quarterly performance bonus, flexible PTO, and comprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
