How you will make contributions that matter:
Join our team at the ILC in Laverton as a Maintenance Technician, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining site reliability, safety, and performance in a fast-paced 24/5 operation.
This hands-on role involves general maintenance across infrastructure and vehicles, supporting contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety systems. You’ll work closely with the Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to contribute to keeping the site running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance across site infrastructure and vehiclesRespond to work orders and carry out planned and scheduled maintenance tasksEnsure compliance with safety systems including LOTO and Permit-to-WorkSupport contractor activities and ensure work is completed to standardProvide skilled labour support across a wide scope of tasksBe available for occasional weekend work and infrequent on-call coveragePromote a clean, safe, and compliant work environmentAbout you
Mechanical trade qualification (e.g., fitter, carpenter, builder, mechanic)Industrial maintenance experience preferredDual trade qualifications will be highly regardedForklift licence (required)Experienced with power tools and general maintenance equipmentExperience with concrete work, line-marking, door repairs, wall liningStrong understanding of WHS, LOTO, and permit systemsA proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and safetyWe’ll support you with
