Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Technician role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility systems in a secure manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

Associate degree in Technology, Technical Certificate, or military Maintenance/Technical experience with a minimum of 4 years of related practical experience OR minimum of 7+ years of related practical experience with no formal training or degree

3+ years of experience in machine troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for occasional operation of company vehicles

Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Preferred Skills:

Electrical certification or Journeyman’s Certificate

Experience with PLCs and robotics in an industrial environment

Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace)

OSHA training related to industrial or maintenance environments

Forklift and aerial lift operation experience

Welding experience for basic repair and fabrication tasks

Basic plumbing and carpentry skills for facility and equipment support

Experience with machine and hand tools common to the trade (e.g., digital multimeter, pipe threader, table saw, drill press)

Working knowledge of electrical systems from 120V to 480V, including machine control circuitry

Familiarity with general facilities maintenance practices

Job Responsibilities:

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and related systems

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement effective repairs

Perform routine inspections on machines and facility systems to identify potential issues before failure

Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new or modified equipment

Use standard maintenance tools and test equipment, including digital multimeters and other diagnostic instruments

Work safely under NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures

Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material-handling equipment as required

Perform basic facility maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, carpentry, and building repairs

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment history in maintenance logs or CMMS systems



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $66,500.00 per year
