Primary Functions:

Responsible for preventative maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, maintain industrial equipment as necessary and support production as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect equipment and components for damage and wear utilizing gauges, measuring devices and experience to determine any necessary actions Repair, adjust and modify power transmission equipment Repair, adjust or replace pumps and supporting equipment Fabricate and repair industrial equipment including welding framework for repairs Use general shop and hand tools as necessary Assist line mechanics and electricians as necessary when needed to support production including all of the above listed tasks and other means of support as needed Respond to unexpected after hour call outs for repair and support Must be forklift and golf cart certified Maintain quality service by following organization standards Maintain 5-S standards and housekeeping Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams Follow all safety training and documents for this site. Ensure optimum operations of equipment by reporting needed maintenance Report any and all quality related issues to the Supervisor Work with maintenance in finding issues with the machine(s) Meet department’s key objectives Participate in Company Safety program Must understand and follow job specific SOPs Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned consistent with the non-exempt functions.
