Maloney Properties is seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician to support our residential properties in Medway and Mansfield, MA. Some of the duties you will be responsible for will include: - Performing in-unit repairs and preventative maintenance. - Completing work orders, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, and general building maintenance. - Inspection and minor repair of equipment. - Providing access to contractors, as needed. - Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas. The work hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 with on-call duties shared on rotation. Your work week will be split between two sites in Medway and Mansfield, MA with the on-call rotation including both properties. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. - Some experience in residential property maintenance and skills in areas like plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC are required. - The ability to work as part of a supportive and cohesive team, as well independently, is required. - The ability to communicate professionally by phone and email while using a smartphone app is required. - Previous experience with Yardi or other management software is preferred. - This position includes participation in the emergency on-call rotation and snow removal. - A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required. - Candidates should reside within 40 minutes’ drive of both Mansfield and Medway for on-call purposes.
