The Warehouse Maintenance Associate will perform routine custodial and maintenance tasks on the interior and exterior of the Distribution Center buildings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to perform minor repairs in electrical and plumbing Experience with maintaining a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, executing within a Work Order system and facilitating overall day-to-day activities of the Maintenance department. Oversee general grounds keeping on a daily basis; clean and inspect inside and outside of Distribution Center areas, ensure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition. Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Distribution Center buildings Maintains and retains warehouse and shelving in clean and orderly condition. Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet May perform weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the associates of the facility and to reduce the risk of hazards.

Education: High school diploma Years of experience: 2-5 years of experience working in a Warehouse Distribution Center in a maintenance role. Ability to apply commons sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems, new challenges and change is necessary. Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and procedural manuals, and maintenance instructions.Essential Functions of the Position:
Work involves frequent periods of standing and walking, which may include climbing ladders and staircases, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning and reaching, bending at the waist and Indoor/out-door work environment with exposure to weather extremes. Repetitive movements. No physical limitations that limit the ability to carry and move furniture weighing up to 130 pounds. Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours and weekend assignments Must be able to operate a forklift, light truck and other related motorized equipmentEmployee Benefits:
