Approaches all responsibilities with the mindset that ensures safety is built into every process task, factoring ergonomics, environmental and hazard elimination into the work steps of the team and themselves.

 

Understand their ability to directly increase overall product quality and integrity, while ensuring that process and product waste are driven to elimination through their skill and intervention.

 

Examining machines and equipment both mechanically and electrically in order to diagnose source of problem.

 

Maintains a “continuous improvement” mind set when working on equipment, always looking for a better, safer, way, and communicating best practices to leadership.

 

Troubleshoot electrical circuits 24vdc to 480 vac, using a multimeter, schematics and proper PPE. Basic knowledge of power supplies, inverters, photo eyes, proximity switches, etc required.

 

 Install motors 24dc to 480vac three phase.

 

Dismantling or partially dismantling machines and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools in scraping and fitting parts.

 

Replacing broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock after solid analytical troubleshooting has been completed.

 

Reassembling machines and making necessary adjustments for safe and efficient operation.

 

Fabricate, install, and /or repair piping of various sizes and material of construction, i.e., PVC, carbon steel, stainless, poly tubing, etc.         

 

Capability of welding in both MIG and SMAW processes.

 

Continuously reviewing their respective area for ideas and thoughts that will drive productivity and reduce costs within the organization, and be capable to professionally communicating their solution for improvement. Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures. Informs supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas. Follows LOTO procedures, JHA’s and Standard Operating Procedures, as well as looks for continuous improvement in the process task. Performs other related duties as required.
