Tasks and Qualifications:Principal Accountabilities
Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manualsTo undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practicesDiagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairsPrioritise system faultsTo comply with Health & Safety legislation at all timesTo ensure quality of output at all timesTo accurately record all work undertakenInvolvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunitiesMaintain product flow at all timesTo ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levelsTo represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relationsTo adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the companyKnowledge & Experience Required
ONC or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (electrical preferred)Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (preferred)A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawingsBasic understanding of control systems and techniquesBasic understanding of PLC equipmentWorking at height up to 22mPrevious experience of working with various conveyor systemsPC literacyUnderstanding of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedulesTechnical Competencies (Or Local Equivalents)
Ability to learn and retain technical informationAbility to read and understand technical drawings and instructionsHave a logical approach to fault finding and resolutionOperate within a designed structure of pre-planned maintenance
