Maintenance/Electrical Technican
SHIFT: 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
PAY: $33.00 - $35.00/HR
PURPOSE: Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand & ability to edit PLC & ladder logic for equipment troubleshooting.Understand complex troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance and repair techniques on electrical components, instruments, computer/PLC controlled and mechanical equipment on production lines.Rebuild, replace, or repair major components, assemblies, and systems.Inspects electrical components during and after product installation.Use wiring Schematics and trouble shoot electrical problems in AC and DC circuits, Motor Controls, 480 plus low voltage, etc.Tests electronics for problems and proposes solutions.Understand and implement designs from technical drawings.Utilize skills to bend conduit, wire pulling, etc.Perform routine maintenance and preventive care.Maintain accurate, updated preventive maintenance records.Adheres to all safety requirements including preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions.Sets up and calibrates, tests, measures and repairs all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variablesWorks within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues that surface because of planning and scheduling work.Maintain facilities and grounds in a clean, well-kept and efficient operating manner.SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of troubleshooting electronics and electrical circuits experience.Trade school or college is a plus.A working knowledge of electronics and electrical theory.Possess an ability to develop, calculate and read electrical schematics.NFPA 70e training is a plus.Allen Bradley PLC & HMI experience is a plus.Intermediate knowledge required in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.MaintainX maintenance tracking software is a plus.Servo Motors and VFD drives experience a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing and able to do the following with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Wear safety equipment, such as earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes, respirators.Perform frequent bending, reaching, and liftingWork in tight or closed-in spaces, climb stairs & ladders.Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, and walk during the shift.Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds.Must have the ability to work comfortably and safely at elevated heights using safety harnesses.
