About the Role

Full-time opportunity located at Tullamarine for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician with Electrical Licence and mechanical aptitude to provide outstanding service for our customer site.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

This will involve servicing our customer’s equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products.  This role offers excellent exposure to the latest systems and technologies.

This position works on a rotating roster of:

Afternoon/evening shifts – 2:30pm to 12amDay shifts – 5am to 1pmWeekend shifts  - 6am to 3:30pm

So this role will require flexibility to work varied hours and some weekends, however this is well remunerated with applicable shift penalties applied.

About You

Successful candidates will have experience in troubleshooting / problem solving equipment faults, be customer focused and ensure high quality service as well as:

Australian Trade Electrical qualification with Certificate III - Electrotechnology  Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience in previous rolesAny PLC experience is highly regarded - we can provide training on Siemens S7 and SCADA systemsExperience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systemsComputerised maintenance systems experience (MEX) is idealExperience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems)Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsUnderstanding of WHS requirements and safe work behaviourAbility to work in isolation and make decisionsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to develop and maintain effective relationships with customersLicenses and certificates for Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and First Aid
