Job Description
Pay: $17.5 per hour
At Great Wolf, theĀ Maintenance TechnicianĀ keeps the waterpark running and provides a safe and fun environment for guests. The Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of aquatic equipment, ensuring functionality meets all required quality standards to maximize operating time and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Adheres to preventative maintenance schedule for waterpark equipment (pools, pumps, motors, slides)Conducts daily inspections of all Waterpark mechanical systems and attractions; perform general maintenance and repairs as necessaryDocuments maintenance actions, including system or equipment irregularities that require monitoringResponsible for the cleanliness and safe operation of the Waterpark area; vacuuming pools, power-washing floors as neededConducts daily water testing and adjusts using chemical treatments as neededWorks professionally with park management, lifeguards, and guestsRequired Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or aquatics maintenanceKnowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and waterpark mechanical operationsSuccessful completions of criminal background check and drug screenAvailability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekends and holidays, as requiredMust be at least 18 years oldDesired Qualifications & Traits
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) license preferredExpert at hands-on equipment maintenancePhysical Requirements
