Maintenance Technician
Job Description SummaryThe primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure equipment preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer’s specification and internal standards.

Job DescriptionAssemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/mechanical, equipment, machines, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.Perform preventive maintenance as defined by internal scheduleRead and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Be example in respecting Safety and Environmental rules defined per internal procedureDetect and report any deviations which could impart our equipment performance and/or lifetimeSuggest improvements to increase equipment and people efficiencyPerform any special assignments assigned by the Maintenance Manager to support siteWillingness to work in various shifts as needed by the managementRequires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GEDMinimum 5 years of experience performing maintenance duties within a manufacturing environmentMinimum 2 years of PLC experience

Demonstrate superior troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify root cause and resolution of equipment issues Read and interpret equipment schematics and manualsPerform equipment lockout/tag-out activities to safely de-energize equipment in accordance with plant programProficient computer skills (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Web interfaces) and responsive, customer-centric communicationStrong teamwork and collaboration skills
