**Maintenance Technician**
**Pay:** Starting at $28 per hour, depending on experience
**Description:** The Mechanic Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various pre-press, sheeting, printing, and finishing manufacturing equipment. This role requires maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency through strong knowledge of electro-mechanics, PLCs, and troubleshooting skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Troubleshooting:** Work with operators to diagnose machinery malfunctions by observing, listening, and testing equipment.
+ **Repair and Maintenance:** Disassemble machinery to access and repair defective parts, then reassemble and test-run to ensure repairs are adequate.
+ **Installation and Adjustment:** Install, repair, replace, adjust, and align machinery components.
+ **Preventative Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance to ensure smooth operation of machines and building systems.
+ **Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA):** Conduct RCFAs on equipment failures.
+ **Cleaning and Lubrication:** Clean and lubricate machinery parts.
+ **Inspection:** Examine parts for defects and perform regular inspections of drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels.
+ **Work Orders:** Complete daily work orders within specified time frames.
+ **Material Handling:** Transport machine parts, tools, and equipment between work areas and storage.
+ **Record Keeping:** Record repairs and maintenance performed in SAP.
+ **Parts and Supplies:** Order or requisition parts and supplies as needed.

+ Electrical and mechanical maintenance
+ Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
+ Preventative maintenance
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of a technical degree in Industrial Electricity, Electronics Technology, or Industrial Maintenance from an accredited school.
+ At least two years of electro-mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment (five years preferred).
+ Experience in manufacturing machine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting (preferably in printing/packaging).
+ Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and install electrical circuitry and equipment controls.
+ Additional machine or factory machine training may be required based on education and previous work experience.
