Job Description
Perform installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of equipment and machinery, including pneumatic equipment, electrical conduit, wiring, outlets, fixtures, transformers, panel boards, AC & DC motors, relay and control equipment, and other production and facility equipment in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulationsTroubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllersPrepare accurate records for preventative maintenance for machines and equipmentComplete all process/product related documentation as it relates to the work performedPerform changeover, setup and operation of production equipmentPerform housekeeping and other duties requiredMaintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of product, equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory pointsMust be able to work assigned as requiredBe on call when plant is in operation
Work Experience
Knowledge of the metric system, as well as AC/DC control circuits.\tAbility to read electrical schematics Very good basic math skills and experience with computer hardwareForklift operator certificationTool maker skills a plusElectrical training or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent of education and experience in production/manufacturing setting
