**Hiring: 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician / Pay $25-27 / Direct Placement!** **Job Description** We manufacture a variety of soaps, detergents, and a variety of health & beauty cosmetic products. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our production equipment operates reliably and efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Respond to maintenance requests and conduct routine maintenance to ensure production equipment achieves production goals. + Conduct changeovers and equipment start-ups quickly to meet or exceed production standards. + Test equipment after repairs, changeovers, or extended downtime to ensure readiness without downtime at start-ups. + Minimize 'stop-gap' measures to keep lines and equipment operating. + Request work orders as necessary to ensure equipment uptime. + Measure downtime and debrief others to improve future outcomes. + Respond to all internal customer requests with urgency, with production being the main internal customer. + Accomplish preventive maintenance tasks on schedule to prevent future downtime. + Follow through on preventive maintenance findings to continually improve equipment reliability. + Contribute knowledge from preventive maintenance tasks to the planning process to ensure equipment uptime and efficiency. + Ensure schedule changes, material availability, and line operations do not prevent preventive maintenance from being completed. + Work to improve equipment design to maximize throughput while reducing non-value-added labor. + Administer the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure system reliability and accuracy. + Enter completed work orders into CMMS and sign parts out to work orders. + Order and restock parts, signing them into CMMS. + Maintain safety, cleanliness, and upkeep of equipment and maintenance areas. + Administer lock-out tag-out (LOTO) and follow GMP rules. **Essential Skills:** + Previous industrial maintenance experience + Mechanical maintenance skills + Blueprint reading and troubleshooting + Preventive maintenance + Electrical maintenance + Ability to read schematics + Mechanical knowledge **Why Work Here?** Join a team dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement.
