Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within the medical device industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and contributing to a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner, minimizing production delays. Maintain records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and preventive maintenance schedules. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions. Calibrate, adjust, and test equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or machinery. Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the maintenance department. Maintain and organize tools, spare parts inventory, and equipment manuals. Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or medical device setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with automated systems and robotics is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO, GMP). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as needed.
