**Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for performing maintenance on our machines. The role includes troubleshooting conveyors and printing presses, replacing and rewiring AC/DC motors from 480V to 2140V, changing gear boxes and bearings, repairing hydraulic systems, MIG welding on steel material, troubleshooting drives and PLCs, fabricating parts using drill presses and torches, and ordering parts and receiving work orders through the CMMS.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance on machines.
+ Replace and rewire AC/DC motors from 480V to 2140V.
+ Change gear boxes and bearings.
+ Repair hydraulic systems, including changing filters and fluids, and repairing brake systems.
+ MIG weld on steel material.
+ Troubleshoot drives and PLCs.
+ Fabricate parts using drill presses and torches.
+ Order parts and receive work orders through the CMMS.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical knowledge up to 480V 3 Phase with 24V circuitry.
+ Mechanical work with industrial bearings, conveyors, or automated equipment.
+ Ability to read schematics.
+ Troubleshooting of automated equipment.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ At least 2-3 years of experience in the maintenance field.
+ Must have own tools.
+ PLC knowledge, including reading inputs and outputs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Apprenticeship or additional schooling in relevant fields.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $68640.00
This company provides options for health, vision, and dental insurance for each candidate.
This is a temperature controlled indoor facility.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Valparaiso,IN.
