Assists with the overall upkeep of the community and grounds. **Responsibilities** **Job Responsibilities:** + Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance. + Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. + Installs, assembles, repairs, and maintains electrical and gas appliances, equipment, systems, fixtures, lights, electronic components, plumbing systems, and fixtures. + Paint or repair surfaces, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. + Maintain by providing landscaping (trimming, cutting, weeding, & planting) and snow removal(plowing, shoveling, and salting) to ensure their appearance and safety for employees, residents, and visitors. + Fabricates, installs, repairs, maintains, and replaces structural items such as counters, cabinets, partitions, floor and ceiling tile, gutters, roofs, etc. + Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies following safety procedures. + May input work requests and detailed information in PMWorx. + Housekeeping duties as needed to ensure the property is clean at all times. **Qualifications** **Education, Experience, and License Requirements:** + High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). + One to two years of related experience. + Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation is required for this position. + Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred. + Required to be on call and respond to maintenance emergencies, as needed. **Job Locations** _US-MI-Bay City_ **Job ID** _2024-2356_ **Category** _Maintenance_ **Shifts** _Afternoons, Days, Weekends_ **Type** _Full Time (37.5 - 40 hrs hours per week)_
