Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all plant equipment by following standard work practices and procedures. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform minor electrical work, and engage in various other maintenance tasks to support the facility's operations. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Complete work orders in the computer system. + Lookup and sign out crib parts in SAP. + Perform minor electrical work such as unwiring and rewiring direct replacement parts. + Rebuild pumps and change mechanical seals. + Troubleshoot and repair extrusion vacuum loading systems. + Know application of hydraulic and pneumatic valves on machinery such as Punch Presses and Extruders. + Rebuild and change blades on granulators and blowers. + Install coating and nip rolls, use micrometers and other measuring tools, machine and fabricate parts with precision. + Weld using MIG and arc welding machines. + Perform preventive maintenance on Punch Presses and Extruders. + Conduct hoist inspections, replace and align motors. + Unjam scrap lines and change cyclone and baler filters. + Perform pipefitting including tubing and hydraulic fittings. + Comply with all plant rules, safety rules, GMP, PPE guidelines, and department work instructions. + Work as directed by the Department Supervisor and as assigned by the shift Lead. + Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a clean work area. + Understand roles and actions for plant emergency response. + Gain knowledge of asbestos locations and radioactive devices in the plant and proper handling procedures. + Know the domestic water system and main gas shutoff locations. + Any other duties as assigned. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a wellness program that can reimburse up to $1,000 a year, 401K, life insurance, and paid parental leave.
