Job Description
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of work including the preventative maintenance and assistance in repair of building and grounds in assigned areas.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on building and grounds.Assist in the repair of building facilities and systems.Communicate effectively through written, verbal, and email formats.Provide excellent customer service in a customer-facing role.Essential Skills6+ months of building maintenance experience within apartment complexes or hotels.Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis.Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and email.Customer service experience in previous roles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working within maintenance at hotel or apartment complex.Experience in a customer-focused environment (apartments, hotels, corporate facilities).Experience working on rooftop HVAC units.Familiarity with VAV (Variable Air Volume) Boxes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role takes place at a hotel in Washington, D.C. There are 252 total rooms and the hotel is currently operating at about 20% capacity. The maintenance team consists of 3 employees with 8AM - 8PM coverage 7 days per week. Shifts available: Option 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (8AM-4PM) | Monday Tuesday (12PM-8PM), Option 2: Wednesday - Sunday (12:00PM - 8:00PM). No work will be required in occupied hotel rooms.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
