Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Repair and maintain company equipment. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns with schematics, drawings, and PLC programs. Work within a cross-functional team to develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing process improvements and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production machines. + Diagnose machine problems and take appropriate corrective actions. + Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. + Perform equipment setup and preparation for production. + Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. + Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation. + Provide skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of plant production and facilities. + Utilize skills to read and modify existing PLC/Robot/Vision programs to fix or make improvements to manufacturing equipment. **Essential Skills** + Electrical, Hydraulics, Maintenance technician, PLC troubleshooting, Electrical troubleshooting, 3 phase, Troubleshooting, Pneumatics, Allen-Bradley, Siemens PLC, Electrical maintenance + Ability to troubleshoot PLCs (Omron, RSLogix500, and/or T.I.) with experience in online troubleshooting (i.e., plugging in with handheld or laptop) + 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience + Electrical troubleshooting + Hydraulic/mechanical troubleshooting + 2-year Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electrical or equivalent experience + 3-5 years of experience in industrial/electrical maintenance + Electrical & PLC knowledge (Omron, Siemens, or Mitsubishi) + Experience with Electrical/Electronic systems such as sensors, relays, and wiring, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes + Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems + Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams and prints + Proficiency with computers and programs such as Microsoft Excel + Experience with robots and servos + Experience with preventative maintenance practices + Strong communication skills, self-motivated, highly organized **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Degree is preferred, otherwise 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience + ABB robot experience is a plus + Skills in Omron PLCs with the ability to modify programs and troubleshoot (AB also is a plus) + Ability to modify/read robot programs + Experience with servos (IAI/Mitsubishi) **Why Work Here?** We pay 85% of employee benefits and offer no contract period.
