**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This maintenance role is within a food manufacturing company, where you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs on bakery equipment. You will work on a variety of machinery, including ovens, mixers, conveyors, pneumatic delivery systems, and extrusion machines. The role requires the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues on the production line, as well as perform fabrication work, primarily welding stainless steel materials. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, conveyors, pneumatic delivery systems, and extrusion machines. + Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on the production line. + Adjust sensors and phone-eyes on machines as needed. + Conduct fabrication work, including welding stainless steel to create machine covers and product catchers. + Prioritize PMs to minimize reactive breakdowns. + Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. **Essential Skills** + Industrial maintenance experience + Mechanical troubleshooting + Electrical troubleshooting + Experience with 3-phase 480V systems + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics + Experience with welding, particularly stainless steel + Knowledge of conveyor systems, motors, and industrial maintenance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Own a basic set of tools (small toolbox) + Previous experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a clean and well-maintained food manufacturing facility. Expect to work approximately 48-52 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of La Porte, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $42556.00 - $47840.00 Great benefits for family - cost is $25 pay period for family. Health, medical dental vision 401k. they get time off for all of the major holidays.
