Maintenance TechnicianDuties / Responsibilities
Ensure strict adherence to all relevant company local guidelines. Install highly technical electrical and/or mechanical equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations in a timely manner for an optimal production timeline that avoids lengthy periods without loss of business. Complete periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended upkeep schedule throughout the life of the devices. Troubleshoot common issues with equipment and assist operators with getting back to a productive mode. Repair machines in order to limit machinery downtime during the production calendar. Evaluate workspace safety on the production floor. Complete a variety of tasks related to maintenance of machinery, including plumbing, electrical jobs, heating and air conditioning, structural concerns and more depending on the scope of the project. Duties Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair or installation. To ensure site repairs are completed in a timely manner with minimum disruption to production. To ensure inventory of spares is complete with relevance to the STERIS facility, plant and equipment Providing emergency breakdown cover and commitment during or after working hour. To update spare part inventory record (always in updated info) and order while require. To monitor service and maintenance by contractor/supplier/vendor. To continuously improve and maintain 5S at workplace area. Update CMMS activity and ensure all activity completed as pe planned. Education Degree High School Diploma or GEDVocational/Technical in Engineering GeneralRequired Experience Computer literate, Mechanical, Electrical & PLC System. 3 years of relevant experience. Initiative and able to work under minimum supervision. Good troubleshooting and analytical skill.
