The Opportunity


We have the perfect full-time position located at one of our client sites in Darra, QLD,  for a  motivated and talented Australian qualified Industrial Maintenance Electrician or Mechanical Fitter to join our team.

4 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri)

10-hour shift offered

10.00 am 8.00 pm

Great hourly rate offered +15% arvo loading

Key Responsibilities

This is a hands on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer focused individual.

The primary objectives of this role are:

Servicing our client's equipment in accordance with project and service agreements

Troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults

Identifying opportunities for improvements in the manufacture and performance of Dematic systems and products

Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work practices at all times

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications, skills & experience:

Must have technical qualification as Electrician or Maintenance Fitter

Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence

Mechanical maintenance experience

Experience in automation (conveyors & sortation systems) is highly regarded

Experience in pneumatic systems

Experience in computerised maintenance systems MEX or similar is ideal

Understanding of OH&S requirements

PLC experience/exposure in Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC is highly regarded, it can be trained on the job

Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills

Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with the customer
