We are looking for a skilled maintenance technician to support the equipment located at primary Daniels Health site, as well as support assigned regional locations. The candidate will be required to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment, including Daniels robotic washlines, autoclaves, Boilers and various other facility equipment to support the site operations. The candidate shall have a strong background in maintenance of production equipment, boilers, autoclaves and knowledge of the working operations of a medical waste processing center.What You Will Do?Daily maintenance of equipment using a CMMS softwarePerform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairsCommunicating with the Service and Engineering team to arrange spare parts, travel schedules and supportAssemble, align, and install equipment and machine upgrades as necessary while adhering to timeline and budgetInterface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliersCommunicating with Operations Manager to arrange downtime to conduct maintenance activities Reports each week of tasks completed & still to be completed.Maintain each equipment inventory up to dateRequirementsDEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (preferred)Able to travel to other Daniels facilities in Canada and/or the US to support equipment mechanical projects/emergencies (valid Canadian Passport Required)Knowledge of MaintainX software (asset)Mechanical, experience in mechanical assemblies and production equipmentWelding, experience with basic repair workElectrical, ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditionsPLC, ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machinesWelcome to new graduate$30 - $35 an hourDaniels Health & Sharpsmart is an equal opportunity employer.
