Position Purpose
As an EVS Technician at St. Luke’s Home, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your efforts will support our mission to provide compassionate care to the community while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
What You Will Do
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and grounds.
Handle minor construction tasks such as installing shelving, repairing cabinets, painting, and replacing floor tiles.
Conduct snow removal, salting, and debris cleanup for sidewalks and parking areas.
Ensure all assigned areas are clean, sanitary, and safe in accordance with infection control policies.
Transport residents to appointments or outings in a company vehicle when needed.
Participate in regular training to stay updated on safety protocols and technical skills.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school education preferred.
One or more certifications required: EPA 608, MECH Certified Mechanic Test, NATE Certification, or Refrigeration Technician License.
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with long-term care or geriatric populations is a plus.
