Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in electrical troubleshooting, and a willingness to work overtime. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, reading blueprints and electrical diagrams, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems.Utilize welding skills for equipment repairs.Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and comply with safety regulations.Work overtime as needed to ensure minimal downtime in production.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitudeElectrical troubleshooting experienceStrong work ethicAbility to read blueprints and electrical diagramsKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience with PLC systemsAdditional Skills & QualificationsWelding skillsExperience in an open air manufacturing environmentWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is an open air manufacturing setting, which can be hot during the summer months in North Carolina. It is important to be prepared for this climate and be able to work comfortably in these conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MARSHVILLE, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
