Job Description
Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of preventive and reactive maintenance to keep the various plants running efficiently. Key areas of focus include hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, pressure sensors, wiring of PLC/machines, motors, preventive maintenance of furnaces, and welding and fabricating equipment.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair hydraulic systems, including complex 70-ton presses used for forging steel.Inspect, test, and maintain valves, pumps, and pressure sensors, ensuring systems operate under a vacuum with constant pressure.Wire PLC/machines, motors, and various equipment, handling voltages from 24v to 480v.Conduct preventive maintenance on furnaces during structured shutdowns.Perform welding and fabricating tasks to keep the plant running smoothly.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingPreventive maintenanceBlueprint readingHydraulics maintenanceElectrical troubleshootingTroubleshooting of various equipment throughout the plantAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with valves, pressure sensors, and hydraulic equipmentAbility to read blueprints and wire diagrams, including hydraulic printsExperience with weldingIndustrial experience preferredWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Work environments vary depending on the plant. Some areas are in the furnace department and can be very hot, while others are subject to outside temperatures. All work areas are roofed but are not climate controlled.

This is a Permanent position based out of Monroe, North Carolina.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72388.00 - $95572.00
Health, Dental, Vision, 401K if offered by company. There will also be opportunities for bonuses and pay increases based on performance metrics.

This is a fully onsite position in Monroe,NC.
