Job Description

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Advanced Metering Systems (AMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) at CMI’s customer site located in Lakewood, CO. This role is critical for achieving operational excellence, minimizing downtime, and supporting the customer’s sustainability goals.

Key Job Functions

Ensure that all control systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems, are functioning efficiently and effectively to support building operations and meet performance goals.Monitor system alarms, optimize system settings to improve energy efficiency, andProvide detailed reports to the customer and other stakeholders.Collaborate with the Maintenance Scheduler, Project Manager, and Onsite Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that AMS and BAS tasks are integrated seamlessly into overall maintenance operations.

 

QualificationsHigh School diplomaAt least (3) years of Maintenance work experience preferably in a large facility with multiple stakeholders.   Deep understanding of AMS and BAS technologies, including system programming, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.Proficiency in the use of the National Computerized Maintenance Management System (NCMMS)Must be able to lift at least 50 poundsMust be certified and properly licensed to work on building systems, where applicable, in accordance with Federal, State, or Local laws, codes, or ordinances.
