Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. You will read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints, troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices, and perform diagnostics and root cause analysis of GIS equipment. Your role includes troubleshooting and programming PLCs on industrial production equipment, repairing and replacing electrical equipment, wiring, and components, and following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis of GIS equipment.Troubleshoot and program PLCs on industrial production equipment.Repair and replace electrical equipment, wiring, and components in industrial production equipment.Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.Install, troubleshoot, and set up VFDs.Repair and troubleshoot motor controls.Bend conduit as required.Inspect transformers and circuit breakers to ensure they are up to code.Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.Maintain and repair auxiliary power units.Test established circuits for overload and determine circuit requirements for additional electrical equipment.Assist in reviewing plans, designing, and constructing new electrical systems.Work on energized and de-energized circuits.Analyze the performance of existing equipment and evaluate options for future equipment installations.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingPLC troubleshootingMechanical skillsKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsPreventive maintenancePLC control3-phase electrical systemsConveyor systemsSchematic readingIndustrial equipment maintenanceWeldingMaintenance and repairAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical troubleshootingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The position involves working 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Shifts include 1st, 2nd (with a $0.54 differential), and 3rd (with a $1.08 differential). You will be working in an industrial environment with advanced tools and equipment, ensuring all systems are up to code and functioning efficiently.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
