**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Our facility in Michigan is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. We specialize in plastic injection molding and provide engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player with proven knowledge of repairing and maintaining plastic processing machines and auxiliary equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and repair 10 plastic injection machines (Nissie) ranging from 700 - 1500 tonnages.
+ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plastic processing machines and auxiliary equipment.
+ Visually inspect and listen to machines to diagnose and locate malfunctions.
+ Dismantle machines for troubleshooting and repair.
+ Read schematics and troubleshoot electric and hydraulic circuits.
+ Test machines and equipment for proper functioning.
+ Accurately troubleshoot issues during production and respond quickly.
+ Maintain, add, and update preventative maintenance schedules in IQMS.
+ Actively participate in creating and maintaining a safe working environment.
+ Install and transfer equipment as assigned.
+ Perform general facilities maintenance around the plant (changing light bulbs, fixing toilets, painting, etc.).
+ Ensure regular and prompt attendance at work.
+ Interact professionally and respectfully with clients and coworkers.
+ Work overtime and rotating shifts when applicable.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a plastic injection facility.
+ Proven knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Experience in preventive maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repair.
+ Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electric and hydraulic circuits.
+ Experience using an ERP system to maintain, add, and update preventative maintenance schedules.
+ Ability to use a voltmeter and troubleshoot electrical systems from 120V to 480V, with some 600V.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ PLC troubleshooting.
+ Robotic knowledge (homing and troubleshooting).
+ Associate Degree or other certifications/schooling.

**Work Environment**
This is a first shift position working directly with the plant manager and engineers. The facility operates 24 hours a day to ensure continuous production. The work environment can be cold in the winters and hot in the summers, as the facility is not climate controlled.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $74880.00
