**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on equipment.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and devices.
+ Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual).
+ Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality.
+ Repair broken or faulty machine parts.
+ Perform emergency repairs.
+ Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs.
+ Align and calibrate machine parts.
+ Monitor and report on project progress.
+ Follow safety rules and regulations.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
+ Assist with continuous improvement initiatives (5S Events, etc.).
+ Perform wiring, plumbing, mounting, leveling, squaring, and installing all types of machinery.
+ Follow OSHA protocols in all maintenance activities.
+ Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
+ Perform minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues without direct supervision.
+ Contact third-party vendors and coordinate services when required.
+ Any other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5 years of maintenance experience.
+ 2+ years of experience with electrical systems and mechanics.
+ 2+ years of ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Deep understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
+ Physical stamina and strength to stand for long hours and carry heavy loads.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mars, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $60000.00

Additional benefits include a robust 401k matching plan and health savings accounts with employer contributions. These benefits, if elected, will become effective the first day of the month following a full-time employee’s date of hire.
Medical Insurance
Administered through a third-party, Take Command.
Employees are provided an allowance amount to cover monthly premiums and can shop for medical plans that meet their specific needs. If they select a plan that has monthly premiums lower than or equal to their allowance, they pay nothing for medical premiums, the company pays the premiums. If the monthly premiums for the plan they select exceeds their allowance, the company deducts the overage from their pay. Most employees have selected excellent medical plans and stayed at or below their allowance. Note that employees will have to pay for co-pays, lab work, etc., as defined by their selected plan.
If a full-time employee opts out of medical insurance, the company provides additional compensation within the employee’s pay-check.
Dental & Vision
Employees who select either or both plans will have coverage under MetLife. The company provides one option for each plan and covers 75% of the monthly premiums, leaving minimal payroll deductions for the employee. Note that these plans cover employee’s dependents, if applicable.
Noncontributory Life Insurance
Employees will automatically receive $100,000 life insurance under MetLife, with 100% of the premiums paid by the company. This coverage is only effective while employed by the company.
We also offer additional voluntary life insurance coverages through MetLife for the employee and dependents at very reasonable rates. An employee may purchase additional coverage including dependent life.
Short-term & Long-term Disability
Employees will automatically be covered under MetLife at no cost. The company pays 100% of the monthly premiums.
Voluntary Accident & Hospital
Administered through a third-party, Colonial Life.
Employees have the option to purchase additional coverages for accidents and hospitalization though Colonial Life. These premiums are paid 100% by the employee.
401k Retirement Plan
Administered through a third-party, VOYA.
Employees can contribute a percentage of their pay up to the IRS limits and select pre-tax and post-tax options. The company will match 50% of the employee’s contribution, with a limit of 4% company match.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Administered through a third-party, OPTUM.
If the employee selects a medical plan that is eligible for an HSA, they can contribute an amount of their pay up to IRS limits. HSA contributions are pre-tax and can roll over from year to year. Employees with HSA plans will also receive a monthly contribution of $60 from the company.
For all points listed above, the company reserves the right to change the benefits offering to employees. If the company decides to make this change, they will provide adequate notice before making any significant modifications.
