**Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift**
**Job Description**
This is a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician position (2p-10p). We have 3rd shift availability. The individual will be responsible for troubleshooting robotic plastic injection machines, performing real changes, and reading blueprints.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform highly skilled troubleshooting and repair of a variety of injection molding machines, including pneumatics and hydraulics, assembly machines, and automation lines.
+ Work with electronics, machine controls, machine vision systems, electrical, software, hardware, and robotics systems.
+ Analyze and correct injection molding process defects/errors based on maintenance requests from operators.
+ Troubleshoot fuses, rewire motors, and ensure relays and contacts are functioning properly.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3 years of experience in injection molding within the automotive industry
+ 5 years of experience with automation assembly lines combined with injection molding processes
+ 3 years of blueprint reading
+ Experience with Arburg or Battenfeld Injection Molding machines is preferred

The main engineering and manufacturing facility supports the North American market with high precision stamping, complex molding, and assembly processes. The company partners with major Tier 1 suppliers for the automotive industry and employs about 180 highly motivated and skilled staff members. This Tier 2 Automotive supplier has also expanded into the Cosmetic Industry. The facility is known for its cleanliness, bright lighting, organization, and adherence to 5S standards, with air conditioning provided during warm months.

This is a Permanent position based out of KENTWOOD, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $59280.00 - $59280.00
Full Company Benefits Effective Day 1 proceeding start Month. If employees start in January, eligible for benefits Feb 1.
