**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
This individual will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of production machinery and equipment on the machining side of the facility. Primary tasks include troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on CNCs, furnaces, boilers, casting machinery, and industrial equipment. The role involves working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing up to 480-volt, three-phase motors and wiring. Familiarity with PLCs for troubleshooting is preferred.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, furnaces, boilers, casting machinery, and industrial equipment.
+ Work with hydraulics and pneumatics consistently.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480 volts, including three-phase motors and wiring.
+ Assist with PLC troubleshooting as needed.
+ Follow the preventative maintenance program.
+ Perform welding, CNC machine troubleshooting, programming and troubleshooting robotics, and PLC programming.
+ Install, align, and level new equipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience (Troubleshooting and Repairing Production Machinery/Equipment).
+ 1-2 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience (Maintenance/Repair of Hydraulics and Pneumatics).
+ 1-2 years of Electrical Maintenance experience (Experience with up to 480 Volt, Three Phase Motors and Wiring).
+ 1-2 years of Preventative Maintenance experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ PLC Experience (Troubleshooting and Editing).
+ CNC Machine Maintenance.
+ Robotic/Automation Maintenance.
+ Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and robotics.
+ 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
+ 3+ years of Mechanical Maintenance experience.
+ 3+ years of Electrical Maintenance experience.
+ 3+ years of Preventative Maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
+ Machining Knowledge.
+ Maintenance experience on CNC Machines.
+ Ability to wire control panels.
+ Machining/Casting/Foundry experience.
+ Controls/PLC experience.
+ Journeyman Card/Technical certifications.

**Work Environment**
This role supports the machining and casting side of a non-union, multi-craft environment within a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer. The work environment can be dirty and dusty, and it can get very hot in the summertime. Shifts include 3:30 pm to 11 pm and 10:30 pm to 6 am, typically working 40-45 hours a week with some potential weekend work for overtime. **Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coldwater, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
