**Job Title: Cement Plant Maintenance Technician**
**Pay**
+ $38 - $43/hr ($80k-$90k/yr)
+ $5k raise/yr for 3 years
+ Yearly Bonus based on plant production. Percentage based on yearly salary
**Shift:**
+ Monday – Friday; 6am – 5pm
+ Said to expect 47 – 52 hours/wk
+ Need to be willing to stay late or come in early if needed
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will collaborate with the Plant Manager to manage activities related to the repair and maintenance of all machinery and mechanical equipment, as well as all company buildings. You will also assist the Plant Manager in problem-solving and process improvement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work with the Plant Manager to manage repair and maintenance activities in a cost-effective and customer-focused manner.
+ Commence work one hour before the plant start time, open the building, open the gate, check all lift equipment, start up the air compressor, and service the air filter and water drain.
+ Perform maintenance and repairs on all company machinery and equipment, including overhead cranes, lifts, light trucks, automobiles, and production equipment.
+ Set up and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule on all major machinery and equipment.
+ Provide the Plant Manager with current information on equipment condition and upcoming equipment maintenance.
+ Maintain up-to-date maintenance and repair records on all major equipment, including those required by OSHA and DOT.
+ Oversee major equipment operation to ensure appropriate, safe, and efficient use.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma
+ Minimum of five years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a plant environment utilizing lift equipment, overhead cranes, air compressors, and light vehicles.
+ Ideally have 3+ years of working on Diesel Engines and Hydraulics.
+ Must be a certified mechanic for the type of equipment utilized or be willing to take training and successfully obtain certification.

**Work Environment**
Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 5 pm, with an expectation of 47-52 hours per week. The work is both indoor and outdoor at a concrete plant, and you will be getting dirty.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
