**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft) | 3rd Shift | $25-$30 | Canton, OH** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift (12:00am-8:30am). This role involves performing machine repair, facilities maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in a plastic extrusion environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, repairing, and installing machinery and equipment, and have a strong understanding of working with 480v, single and three phase power, VFD's, sensors, switches, AC/DC motors, and relays. **Responsibilities** + Perform machine repair and facilities maintenance. + Troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery and equipment. + Work with 480v, single and three phase power, VFD's, sensors, switches, AC/DC motors, and relays. + Complete projects and effectively communicate progress across shifts. + Identify faulty parts or issues with machinery and troubleshoot accordingly. + Apply OHMS Law, including current and voltage, series parallel circuits, contactors, fuses, and DC/AC drives. + Operate towmotor safely. + Maintain efficient operation of machines. + Maintain all electrical components. + Adapt to tasks without extensive schematics, learning on the fly. **Essential Skills** + Industrial Maintenance experience. + Experience with industrial electricity (480v, single and three phase power). + High School graduate or equivalent. + Ability to develop positive working relationships. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in maintenance, electrical, and mechanical tasks. + Experience in the plastics industry, particularly with plastic extrusion. + Knowledge in PM's and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, injection mold, extrusion, blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, schematics, service, preventive maintenance, 3 phase power, maintenance repair, industrial welding, and repair. **Why Work Here?** We offer a 401(k) with company matching, vacation days after 6 months, excellent health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days, short term disability and additional voluntary life insurance, a paid day off for your birthday, weekly pay, and multiple perks throughout the year. The facility is kept as clean as possible, with blending operations separated. The plant is a 160,000 sq. ft. facility with a total of 60 employees. Currently, there are 6 technicians, and a professional and well-spoken culture is important. Must be willing to come in early or stay late if a machine goes down, as all hands are needed to get equipment up and running.
