Job Overview:

Linde Gases US (LGUS) is seeking qualified applicants for our Maintenance Technician role. The technician must demonstrate initiative in handling issues, be self-motivated, dependable, and work within a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will use a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical equipment and systems.You will follow SMP/SOPs within an ISO/QA/PSM/RMP site.You will disassemble/assemble rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, etc. to repair/replace bearings, gears, seals, structural components, and the like.You can read and understand blueprints.You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.You will safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boiler systems, valves, and ability to perform equipment alignments.You will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), plan and execute maintenance activities including procurement of parts, supervision of maintenance tasks, and completion of all follow-ups required documentation.You will complete some repairs of mechanical piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systems.You will complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
