Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking two skilled Maintenance Technicians for our plant in Ossian, Indiana, which manufactures gas tanks for various automotive clients including Honda, Mazda, Nissan, and Chrysler. The plant operates five large blow molding machines and utilizes Fanuc robotics. The role involves performing preventive maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance tasks.

ResponsibilitiesSetup, maintain, and changeover blow molding machines as required and assigned.Setup, maintain, and changeover downline assembly operations as required and assigned.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical (low and high voltage) equipment with the goal of minimizing machine downtime.Document required parameters for all process equipment (blow molding and/or downline).Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Perform facilities maintenance tasks.Essential Skills3+ years of industrial maintenance experienceElectrical troubleshooting experience with 480v, 3-Phase, electrical circuits, and electrical cabinetsMechanical troubleshooting experience with hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to interpret blueprints and schematicsPossession of own toolingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The plant is temperature-controlled and very clean. The role involves working on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday, with rare overtime on Saturdays. Training will occur on the 1st shift for 2-3 weeks. Shift premiums include $1.50 for the 2nd shift and $1.00 for the 3rd shift.
