The Dartmouth Group, an Associa company, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its community in Boston, MA.,https://www.thedartmouthgroup.com/.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostly exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition to other exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safely maintained.

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nWalk and inspect community to ensure the community is clean and well maintained.\nChange out light bulbs, light sockets, and light fixtures, investigate leaks, light carpentry work, drywall repair, patch work, and paint.\nInvestigate trash containers to ensure trash is picked up in and around the area, and the exterior of the buildings.\nWinterize the community, ensuring salt buckets are full and spread salt outside of doorways.\nPerform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.\nClean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.\nContact, schedule, and meet with outside maintenance vendors onsite for cleaning and janitorial services, snow removal services, and landscaping.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\n2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience.\nExcellent communication skills, written and spoken.\nCustomer service focused and team oriented.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.\nKnowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\nValid driver's license is required.\n\n
