Responsibilities Maintenance Technicians at Related Management Company (RMC) are the core reason why our properties look and function at a higher standard. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape Complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep your property’s systems in good working order Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner. Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frame. Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds; immediately address safety issues with management. Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with supervisor. Partner with Residnet Manager to prepare site for inspections. Maintain workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 standards. Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs. COMPENSATION $25 - $27 / hour with an annual bonus that is tied to performance Qualifications WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 2+ years of experience in general maintenance Luxury high-rise housing experience preferred HVAC: repairs, cleans, replaces, etc. EPA Certification preferred Plumbing: repairs, replace parts, installation Carpentry: repairs and installs doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc. Painting: drywall/plaster repairs, painting Electrical/Appliance: lighting, wiring, power circuits, replacing switches, etc. Mechanically Inclined General knowledge of using a computer and computer systems.
