CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a **FM Technician (Carpenter)**
Undertake planned, reactive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks across the ExxonMobil Fawley refinery site
**Job Responsibilities**
· Uphold and embrace CBRE and ExxonMobil Health and Safety requirements.
· Demonstrate a strong behavioural commitment to Health and Safety.
· Become actively involved in client Loss Prevention System (LPS) operation and adopt requirements as an integral part of day-to-day activities.
· Carry out the general repair, and maintenance of the building’s structure, including fire doors, general doors, and window frame structures.
· Perform assigned repairs and emergency preventative maintenance.
· Complete maintenance repair records as required.
· Build, dismantle, and repair structures, walls, roofs, glass, siding, or facia.
· Review assigned work orders and estimate time, materials, equipment, and tools to complete the repair. Order necessary materials and supplies as needed.
· Collaborate with employees, end users, and partners concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.
· Ensure that all tools and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
· Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
· Ensure the personal safety and safety of those who are affected by your work.
· Participate in all HSE-related programs, activities, and training as required. This includes incident investigations, interviews, auditing, assessment, etc.
· Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
· Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
· Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
· Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
· Participate in emergency call out rota.
· Work within the requirements of the site Permit to Work system.
· Utilise MEWP’s and other access equipment as required for working at height.
· Ability to deliver work to a high standard and correct first time.
· Actively support continuous improvement and efficiency programs to promote best practice solutions.
· Buddy third party service providers to ensure compliance with site rules and requirements as and when required.
· Participate in training and development programs as agreed with Supervision.
· Driving vehicles including vans for the purpose of undertaking work activities.
· Uphold housekeeping standards for CBRE and customer work areas.
· Assist other Team members in all feilds when required.
· Demonstrate a focus on customer satisfaction.
· Develop positive customer relationships.
· Updating maintenance records either electronically or on paper-based system.
· Assist with other duties within personal competencies
**Qualifications needed:**
+ Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
+ Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures for required works.
+ Full clean driving licence
+ Full disclosure is a contractual requirement.
+ Must be able to work within a team and be self-motivated.
+ Flexible in approach to work scheduling
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Demonstrate ability to work under pressure.
+ Strong communication skills (oral and written)
+ Use of computer systems/iPads to maintain electronic work schedules
