As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical and mechanical condition of the building, utility systems, and production equipment. This will involve performing both general and specialized repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks to support production and process equipment.
Your duties will include: Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment such as steam systems, chillers, air and gas lines, and water systems. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems, including programmable controls, power supplies, drives, and test equipment. Electrical Work: Bend and install conduit, pull and terminate wires, replace motors, and work with high-voltage systems. You’ll need to understand and work with both three-phase and single-phase electrical systems, including ladder diagrams and relay logic. Safety Protocols: Work safely around ammonia systems, acid systems, steam, and high-voltage equipment. You’ll follow all necessary safety procedures to avoid exposure to hazards like fumes, live steam, and electrical shock. Collaboration: Work closely with managers, supervisors, and operators to address maintenance issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.

What You’ll Need:

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of electrical systems, basic electronics, and mechanical equipment. Technical Skills: Familiarity with three-phase and single-phase controls, low-voltage relay logic, digital/analog electronics, and basic electrical schematics. Maintenance Knowledge: Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including HVAC, boilers, and pneumatic equipment. Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel/Word for reporting and data entry. Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to grow in the field of electrical and mechanical maintenance. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of positions (standing, bending, stooping, etc.). Comfort working in dusty, noisy, and temperature-variable environments.

Work Conditions:
