Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician takes responsibility to safely and efficiently diagnose and repair machinery throughout the facility. Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical problems with equipment as directed Identify components or parts that need repair or replacement, Secure parts and schedule with production for machine availability to perform work. Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing, etc.) Must operate aerial lift, scissor lift and forklift to service cranes and shop lighting. Must understand and have a strong demonstrated commitment to safety to include LOTO procedures. Lead and manage all assigned Facilities maintenance projects employee is assigned Operate within local organization and accomplish work within existing systems and under supervision Adhere to all safety and environmental compliance requirements on site and in field activities Lead all assigned projects to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost initiative goals are met Control and optimize any maintenance departmental spending against assigned budgets Continually evaluate equipment for improvement areas Execute all assigned projects to be completed on time, and on budget Drive Continuous Improvement in all enterprise areas using Lean principles COMPENSATION RANGE: $25.00-$31.00 Hourly.
