Our Seattle, WA location is part of our Liquid Beverage division and creates sweet syrups and sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. What You'll Do:

 

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our teams, the quality of our products, and the growth of our business. Key priorities for this role include:

 

Executing a detailed Preventative Maintenance strategy aligned with business goals. Conducting Root Cause Analysis on breakdowns exceeding four hours and developing corrective actions. Identifying potential issues before equipment breakdowns occur by using advanced tools that automatically monitor equipment and alert our teams when attention is needed.

 

Your familiarity with various production floor concepts, practices, and procedures will be essential as you rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide general facility maintenance and repair. Troubleshoot pneumatics, rebuild valves and/or pumps. Demonstrate mechanical ability to set timing. Perform repairs and modifications to plant equipment. Research and source repair parts. Read, understand, and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings. Calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment for laboratory and manufacturing plant to ensure conformance to established calibration standards. Work with 3-phase and high-voltage electrical systems. What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

High School diploma or equivalency required; Associate degree in area of specialty or completion of a Trades/Technical School program preferred.

 

3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in electrical, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics Able to read and interpret schematics and drawings. Practiced in safe work habits. Team players with obvious enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done. Self-starters dedicated to continual quality improvement. Basic computer skills with MS Excel, Word and Outlook Email. SAP helpful.
